How to type faster with these lessons

Typing faster is mostly about not looking at the keys and not making errors you have to go back for. The course is built in that order. Lessons 1 to 6 teach where every finger lives: start with the home row typing lesson, then the top and bottom rows. Lessons 7 to 10 turn single keys into real words. Lessons 11 to 13 add the keys that slow most people down: Shift and capitals, number typing practice with the 10-key pad, and punctuation typing. Lessons 14 to 20 build stamina, from medium sentences to typing paragraph practice, science terms, code and famous quotes.

Each lesson shows an on-screen keyboard coloured by finger, lights up the next key, and tells you which keys you missed most. Aim for 90% accuracy to pass a lesson, then move on. Every few days, measure the result with a 1 minute or 3 minute typing test.
